Before your visit

Physical & mental requirements for the high altitude course

  • You must not weigh more than 120 kg
  • You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • For the safety of your child, we do not allow you to climb if you are pregnant
  • We do not tolerate sexual, inappropriate or discriminatory verbal or physical behavior. Should this occur, Oxelösund Adventure Park has the right to cancel your activity without the possibility of a refund.

Checklist for your visit

  • Leave any loose items you don’t need at home or in your car. If you want to use your cell phone, talk to the staff and they will sort it out.
  • Take off jewelry and leave it at home if possible. We can tape newly taken piercings with sports tape if necessary.
  • Feel free to go to the toilet before the activity begins, during the low season the toilet may be locked as the municipality is responsible for it

Upholstery

  • The activity takes place outdoors, so dress for the weather. Most people prefer training or outdoor clothing and comfortable shoes.
  • We have limited changing and shower facilities as our site is in the countryside. Therefore, please come to the park changed.

Keep in mind that:

  • Shoes must cover the whole foot – sandals, slippers and open shoes are not allowed.
  • In cold weather, underwear can be a good idea, but avoid overly thick jackets.
  • Long hair should be pinned up and avoid loose clothing or scarves that can get caught.

Harness, helmet and gloves

The harness is a full body harness, which means that there are straps for the legs, hips and shoulders. It is the safest type of harness. There is a so-called “roller” on the harness. This is the one you ride on our cable cars with. We use Clic-It carabiners to attach to the trees and the wire. Clic-iT is a communicating system where one carabiner is locked if the other is open.

The helmets are as safe as they are easy to use. They are one-size and buckle smoothly at the back of the neck. The brand is Petzl.

You can of course borrow gloves from us. The brand is Tegera with rubberized inside. They are washed regularly to always feel fresh. The smallest size is 5 and the largest is 11.

Food in the park

Feel free to bring your own picnic and enjoy it before or after the climb on the large lawn on Jogersö. Barbecue facilities are available, but bring your own charcoal and accessories.

Accessibility

As our park is in the countryside, they are not fully accessible, but we have done our best with the paths together with the municipality.

If you have any special needs or disabilities, such as hearing or visual impairment, please let us know when booking so that we can give you the best possible experience.
